Harassment Policy

Harassment of any participating members of The Football Academy will not be tolerated. Anyone that is reported for harassment will be called in for disciplinary action. The success of our services depends on the patience and support of everyone involved. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Internship Screening Policy

Students interested in interning must undertake internships to fulfill the requirements of an education program their enrolled in currently. Please see the federal labour standards for student interns before contacting.

Training and Instruction Policy

All participants will have to complete a yearly Get Active Questionnaire (GAQ) The Football Academy policy and procedures:

  • Availability to attend majority of training sessions.
  • Meeting training needs and expectations, going above and beyond to compete with teammates.
  • Ensure a fun and positive attitude is always the focus
  • Representing the Academy in a respectful manner in all training sessions
  • Create a safe space for student of all ages to express soccer and play
  • Low tolerance on negative behaviors (i.e., verbal abuse, bullying, physical abuse)

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of extreme weather conditions or other environmental situations which develop during the day or may be forecast for the weekend, it may be necessary to close the facilities. A decision to close is made centrally after considering all information on road and weather conditions received from a variety of resources, including road departments and weather agencies. Please visit CBC news for more information on facility closures and our social media. Programs will still operate with virtual training from home however camps are subject to a refund.
